Floral Alchemy

Cultivating the space to listen to the soul self.

Creating coherence and alignment through movement, journalling, breathwork, sound and relaxation.

Including field trips to trees, springs and magical spaces on the land. Next course - Friday 7th January - 20th May 2027

Each session is guided from the wisdom and essence of a specific flower.

For example e.g. Snowdrops represent hope, renewal and a return to spring within ourselves! Please see the flower guides and dates below…..

The sessions aim to bring us into alignment with our original blueprint, helping us to land in the presence of our true nature. Aligning us to our united, real or higher self.  This version of self becomes our guiding light rather than being contained by a limited or programmed field of thought. We ask ourselves what has come out of alignment with our pure original design. What are our souls saying to us? How may we authentically listen to these finer aspects of self?

Next course - Friday 7th January - 20th May

Field trip immersions in nature

  • The Flower

Flowers are silent messengers, embodying colour, form, geometry and hold qualities that words often fail to express.  We will look at the journey from seed, bud, bloom to decay, which mirrors the human experience. The natural world teaches us about growth, vulnerability, impermanence, resilience, and rebirth. As we align to a specific flower archetype, it strengthens the bond with our unified self.

  • Breathwork

Breathwork is a powerful and ancient practice that utilises something we do everyday. Breathing is an action that we can do consciously and unconsciously. For that reason we start with the breath as it is a gateway into our nervous system, allowing us to bring our whole selves into a state of restful awareness and deep peace.

  • Journalling

Each session will have a theme from the over arching flower, this will lead to focussed questions. Journaling offers significant benefits for deep enquiry and reflection, improving self-awareness and tracking our internal processes. Journalling is a potent tool to aid our emotional growth and mental clarity.  We will focus on intentions that we individually make, tracking our process and reviewing what we are allowing to compost and release!

  • Movement Meditation

Movement practices are an immersion into our subtle anatomy, our biofield or aura. We will be encouraged to listen to and sense our energy, where we maybe holding onto old stagnant energy that no longer supports our physical and emotional well being. Movements use a sacred geometric template, when integrated with our intention, energy and breath, create a powerful tool for change.

Testimonials

“Yesterday was brilliant Catherine. I didn’t know what to expect but it was exactly what I needed, I have been feeling anxious and fearful recently and I know my blood pressure is becoming an issue. I don’t want medication and I’m bad at meditating on my own. I felt much calmer and in control all day and today I can still feel the benefit.” Sue

Thank you so much with all my heart 💙✨🙏💚🌱🌳💚 Sarah

The Flower Alchemy Course is very special.  I joined it because I really wanted some time to relax deeply and to learn  skills - re-train my mind and body - so that I would find it easier to relax and manage anxiety - going forward. I was sick and tired - literally. I was coming out of a very anxious time, seeing my mother through the final years of her life, and then dealing with the grief of losing her, made more complicated by our difficult relationship.   I was also completely exhausted and if I’m honest a bit burnt out from my 15 year commitment to Church service.  I became quite unwell and knew I needed to make some real changes. This course was perfect.  In an unpressured way, I learnt breathing techniques, visualising techniques which helped  to slow and quieten my over-active mind and nervous system.  The mystery pain in my chest (which I’d had investigated in hospital through laparoscopy) slowly went away.  I can only conclude it was anxiety induced.  The sound baths were just heavenly.  I’ve no idea how they work, but they seem to have an effect on all that stored tension - built up over decades.  I still carry tension in my shoulders and stomach, but it really helps that.  The flower therapy helped me to look inward and reflect in a manageable way.  Each flower represents different aspect of self and life journey in bite-sized ways which slowly build together.  And lead to moments of joy, empowerment and celebration of self and community.  I think it’s a beautiful thing.  As a practising Christian, the other thing that helped was that so much of the language was positive but neutral and could be layered with meaning that added significance for me and my prayer life.  As an example, the first session which is the bulb - rather like the child in the womb - I could reflect on the words in Psalm 139 (I am fearfully and wonderfully made)
