A gentle sound bath and breathwork session, designed to calm and down regulate the nervous system. A perfect way to start the weekend.
Fee: £12 every Friday 5 - 6pm starting on 30th May
The session starts with relaxation lying on a futon, where you will be guided through several breathing techniques following the pace and rhythm of gentle music, you will have a choice to sit for a meditation or lie down for a deeper relaxation.
There are numerous health benefits to a Soundbath, primarily it down-regulates the nervous system, which reduces anxiety, improves sleep, lifting our energy levels and focus. As we relax and listen to the sounds of ancient Tibetan Bowls, it improves our capacity to reduce stress which lowers the heart rate and blood pressure, whilst increasing the oxygen in the cells. A perfect way to start the weekend.
For the Session: wear warm, comfortable, non-restrictive clothing, arrive by 4.45pm for a 5pm start

Sound Bath
Energy, sound and vibration is a fundamental principle in the universe. Everything in existence, from the tiniest subatomic particles to the vast cosmic bodies, vibrates at specific frequencies. A sound journey utilises the healing and calming properties of sound and vibration to allow us to return to a resonance that is calmer, clearer and more conscious.

Himalayan Sound Bowls
We will be using ancient Tibetan bowls from the Himalayas. Tibetan singing bowls are designed to produce a rich, deep and sustained tones, creating a calming and meditative atmosphere, the vibrations from the bowl interact with the body's energy centers, promoting relaxation and balance.

Breathwork
Breathwork is a powerful and ancient practice that utilises something we do everyday. Breathing is an action that we can do consciously and unconsciously. For that reason we start with the breath as it is a gateway into our nervous system, allowing us to bring our whole selves into a state of restful awareness.

Apart from yourself there is no need to bring anything particular with you. We recommend that you wear clothes that are comfortable to lie down in.
Blankets and bespoke cushions are provided but you may want to bring some cozy socks.
